My video is inspired by the song "Hey Moon" by John Maus, which explores the singer's connection with the moon and its ability to bring calm, comfort, and a sense of remembrance. The song evokes feelings of nostalgia and melancholy, which I aimed to capture in my video. I used a cooler color palette to reflect these emotions and gave the illustrations a playful, old-school cartoon style with a slightly wobbly animation, emphasizing the song’s childlike undertones.
